For the Dogs

Kennels & Exercise
The kennels are set in a large enclosed area for complete safety, adjoining grass paddocks for free running exercise and play time whilst receiving one to one attention from us.

For the senior citizens we can take a more leisurely stroll around the grounds.

Dogs are exercised individually unless they are from the same household.

Accommodation
We provide a safe and clean environment for all our guests.

Each kennel block has its own thermostatically controlled heating to maintain a comfortable level of warmth. With their own individual sleeping areas. They have their own free access to a secure open air covered run through the daytime.

Each kennel block has a sound system which plays background music.

Home from Home
Bedding, toys and treats are provided but we do encourage owners to bring something familiar from home.

Feeding is carried out to accommodate each dogs regular diet. We stock a variety of main brand dog foods but as there are so many on the market, we are happy to administer supplied and veterinary prescription food .
 
For the Cats     

Cattery
The Chalets are positioned by our home in their own tranquil garden overlooking the fish pond and waterfalls, well away from the kennels.

Accommodation
Our purpose built insulated single and family chalets are complete with thermostatically controlled heating, beds, bedding, and litter tray. The individual covered exercise run leads on to a safety corridor for extra security.

We provide cat scratchers, balls and toys but encourage owners to bring something familiar from home.


Meal Times
Steeple Ashton Cattery will carry out your normal feeding regime where required, otherwise cats are fed twice a day.

We stock a variety of name brand cat foods as well as administering special diets and medication as required.

All staff are personally trained to the high standards of the FAB after my completion of the Boarding Cattery Management Course by an FAB trainer in 2002.


Medicine

Animals needing medication can be accommodated, as can diabetics requiring insulin injections.

The administration of late night medication incurs an extra small charge.

Vaccination Requirements

Cats	Feline infectious enteritis and cat flu are compulsory, Leukamia is not required but we     recommend protecting your cat against this.
Dogs	Parvo. Distemper, Hepititis, Leptospirosis Parainfluenza and the additional vaccination     against Canine Cough are required.

All vaccinations including Canine Cough, must be completed 14 days prior to boarding and the veterinary book produced on commencement of boarding.


Facilities

We offer a Pick up & Return service for our customers convenience and the comfort of your pets in our air conditioned van.
Our bathing service can be arranged before your dog comes home, for a small charge.

We take pets for day boarding and long periods whether you are taking a holiday, moving house, a family member maybe unwell or the builders have moved in!
 

Discounts

For cats and dogs our single and family units can cater from one to four or five pets depending on their size/breed, this helps reduce fees having discounts for multiple pets sharing.

Discounts are available after 30 days boarding.

A full days board for the day of arrival and departure will apply, with payment due in full before our guest can be removed.

We accept Cash or Cheque (covered by a bankers card). All prices are inclusive of VAT.


Conditions of Boarding
The management of Steeple Ashton Kennels & Cattery reserve the right to refuse admission to any pet whose condition could constitute a health hazard to other pets or staff, or when its own health would appear to be in jeopardy.
